Whether you are having your wedding in the city, the bluffs or somewhere in the north woods, Wisconsin winters have plenty of recreational activities to keep your out of town guests busy when wedding events are not taking place. A mini Rockefeller Plaza can be found right in the heart of downtown Madison, located at The Edgewater. If your guests are looking to hit the slopes, Cascade Mountain offers skiing, tubing, snowboarding and lodging, located between Madison and the Wisconsin Dells. Kids 12 and under ski free with a paid adult. Nordic Mountain and Christmas Mountain are among other ski resorts in central Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Dells, known as the waterpark capital of the world, offers many indoor waterparks including the Kalahari Resort, Wilderness Resort, Great Wolf, Chula Vista Resort and Mt. Olympus.
