Valentine's Day is right around the corner. If you are looking for a DIY tablescape design for a romantic dinner and some bubbly with your lover, here is a beautiful, chic and modern tablescape with soft hues of rose gold, blush, gold, peach and white.
We had a fun day yesterday with this styling shoot capturing this gorg tablescape and creating all the fun little details that went with it. You can easily recreate this look with a couple of mason jars, candle holders, candles, rose gold spray paint and fabric.
Start with a can of Premium Decor or Krylon metallic/copper spray paint found at your local hardware store. Lay down some newspaper or kraft paper and spray your mason jars, candle holders and chargers.
You can find these chargers at Michael's, Hobby Lobby and sometimes even at the Dollar Tree. I've also seen them at the St. Vincent store from time to time for $1. St. Vincent or your local thrift store is a great place to find various treasures if you don't have candle holders or china plates. You can also mix and match your china plates.
Next, you will need soft blush or pink fabric, about 3 to 5 yards, depending on the size of your table to make a table linen. You can also substitute a white table linen if you already have one at home. We used a 46" round table, so we took 3 1/2 yards of fabric and folded half of it to fit the table. You will also need up to 1 yard of peach fabric to make two napkin linens. Napkin linens are typically 20" x 20", so you will need to measure the fabric and cut it for each one.
Head to your local florist, Costco or grocery market that sells floral and pick a lovely bouquet of pink roses and hydrangeas. We also used some of the greenery from the roses stems to incorporate a garland down the center of the table.
We couldn't forget the sweetheart candy hearts! xoxo
And we most certainly can't forget the bubbly! Pop.Fizz.Clink. Cheers my lovelies!
